CFDA and Google put a complimentary shuttle into New York Fashion Week
The service moved editors, buyers and other industry professionals between events while doubling as a mobile brand-gifting venue.

In a page published Sept. 29, 2026, the Council of Fashion Designers of America described a New York Fashion Week shuttle created with Google. The complimentary service carried editors, buyers and other industry professionals between shows and events across New York City.
The CFDA framed the shuttle as a more efficient and sustainable way to navigate a crowded schedule and as support for a greener Fashion Week. It did not publish ridership or emissions figures on the page, so that sustainability description is qualitative rather than a measured result.
A brand experience between shows
The shuttle also functioned as a gifting space. BYREDO supplied fragrance, David Protein provided bars, EADEM offered skin and lip care, e.l.f. Cosmetics supplied a 3-in-1 hair tool, Saratoga Water stocked still and sparkling water, and SBE Beauty contributed lip oils. That mix turned travel time into another sponsor touchpoint within the week.
