New Mac mini and Mac Studio arrive; 512GB Mac Studio is due in late October
U.S. prices start at $899 for Mac mini and $2,499 for Mac Studio, while eligible buyers have education pricing and Mac Studio lease options.
Apple published the announcement on September 22, 2026. The company said the new Mac mini and Mac Studio would begin reaching customers and arriving at Apple Store locations and Apple Authorized Resellers on September 22. A Mac Studio configured with 512GB of unified memory is scheduled for late October.

The education prices are available exclusively from Apple to students. Apple says its year-round student pricing starts at $799 for Mac mini and $2,299 for Mac Studio.
A lease option for Mac Studio
Eligible U.S. customers can choose 24- or 36-month Mac Studio leases through Apple Upgrade. On a 36-month term, payments start at $48.99 per month for the M5 Max model or $110.10 per month for the M5 Ultra model, excluding taxes and any trade-in credit. At the end of the lease, an eligible customer can upgrade to the latest generation, buy the computer with a one-time payment, or return it and leave the program.
